Notes and Thoughts of a Wannabe Writer

My aspirations are to publish a novel and to settle down in a place where I am happy with people who I love around me. I love to cook and scoff food.

I'm into anime, walking, writing, reading, fantasy, food, random things, films, TV shows, music and gaming. And I love cats.

I'm currently editing my first novel and have started work on my second. Watch this space...

Yesterday, K and I went swimming here.
Claverton Weir, or Warleigh Weir as it is also known as.
We walked an hour and a half to get there from town. It was really busy when we got there - lots of people obviously knew about it. It was really pretty. You dumped your stuff in a field and then walked along the top of the weir and swam in the water behind it.
You couldn’t see the bottom (which freaked me out a little, esp when I felt things swimming around my feet), but the water was pretty much clear to about my mid-drift. It was too deep. K could stand up on his tip-toes in most of the central part of the river.
The water was cold, but not unbearably so. It was so refreshing after the days and days of hot weather we’ve been having.
